Whether you’re a seasoned mixologist or an at-home bartender, here’s your chance to prove that you make the best Old Fashioned. The competition will feature 16 incredible cocktails, with the winning recipe being showcased as Staymaker & Union Hall’s Cocktail of the Week and featured in our Barrel to Bar series.

How to Enter

• Submit your unique Old Fashioned recipe featuring a Journeyman Spirit of your choice.
• Your creation must be a variation of the classic Old Fashioned.
• Entries must be submitted exclusively through our form below—Social DMs and email submissions will not be accepted.
• A clear and high-quality photo of your cocktail alongside the Journeyman Spirit bottle is required for submission.

What’s at Stake:

Rules & Details

• ONLY 16 submissions will be selected by Journeyman to participate in the Old Fashioned Mixology Madness Competition.
• Must be located in the Three Oaks, MI, or Valparaiso, IN region.
• All entries must be submitted by March 7, 2025, by 11 PM (ET).
• Voting Rounds Begin: Mar 8, 2025 – Mar 24, 2025
• Final Showdown & Winner Announcement: Mar 25 – Mar 29, 2025

Terms and Conditions

*No purchase necessary to enter. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate. All submissions must be received by March 7, 2025 to qualify. Please note that submitting a recipe does not guarantee selection. Only the top 16 entries, chosen based on creativity, quality, and uniqueness, will be selected to compete in the bracket. The final winner will be notified via email by March 30, 2025. The Final Champion will be determined by the number of “Likes” received on their cocktail image in our post, with the final count taken on March 29, 2025, by 12:00 PM (noon) (ET).
